We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains our refund approach for digital resume generator scripts, compliant with Shopify Payments, Stripe, and EU/US consumer laws.

Standard Policy: Non-Refundable. Due to the nature of downloadable software, products are generally non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, as they cannot be "returned."
EU Consumer Rights Notice
For EU consumers: By purchasing our digital content, you explicitly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download has started.
2. Exceptions & Refund Eligibility
While strict, we are fair. We may issue a refund in the following specific cases:
- Technical Defects: The script is broken, throws errors, or does not function as described, AND our support team is unable to fix it within 72 hours.
- Misrepresentation: The product differs substantially from the screenshots or description provided.
- Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product twice.
We do NOT refund for:
- Change of mind or finding a different product you prefer.
- Lack of technical skills to use the product (we provide instructions).
- Incompatibility with outdated or pirated software environments.
3. Refund Process & Timeline
If your refund request is approved:
- Method: Refunds will be automatically applied to your original method of payment (credit card, debit card, etc.). We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- Timeline: Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. This timeline is controlled by your bank, not us.
4. Exchanges
Since our products are digital files, we do not offer exchanges. If you purchased the wrong package tier, please contact support for upgrade options.
5. How to Request a Refund
To start a request, email us at support@guardofcode.com with:
- Your Order Number.
- Detailed description of the issue.
- Screenshots of any error messages (if applicable).
We aim to respond to all queries within 24-48 hours.
6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If you file a dispute or chargeback with your bank without contacting us first, we will submit evidence of your download activity and agreement to these terms. This may result in your account being blacklisted from future purchases. Please contact us directly to resolve issues faster.
